Something happened to me in the spring of 2005 that changed my life forever. A common morning was altered by an awe inspiring mystery. As I arose and was rounding the bed, my body suddenly shook violently and I could see in my mind the word, EARTHQUAKE.
Now this only lasted a few seconds but I had to sit a few minutes to contemplate what had just happened, for this was a very powerful experience. I didn’t talk about it or tell anyone for a month or so. To do so would have somehow diluted its significance. This wasn’t my first encounter with such a strong leading from the Holy Spirit but truly the most unusual.
Finally, I told my pastor. I was told to talk with a fellow congregate Jerry, who has the gift of discernment to see if this was from God or not. Now this shocked me. What was the pastor talking about? It never occurred to me that this wasn’t from the Lord.
I started to search on the internet for others who may have had an experience like mine. I entered all kinds of search phrases…Christians and Earthquakes… Earthquakes and the Bible… etc…..etc…
I couldn’t find anything interesting so I quit searching for awhile and went on to other things. I had just rededicated my life to the Lord a couple years back and was enrolled in BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) which is a 7-year intensive course so I was totally immersed in the Word.
That summer I started looking again for earthquake information and found someone locally that was talking about a great shaking from the Lord. I thought Wow, so I e-mailed this woman about my experience. She did contact me back and I found out that she was involved in a global ministry which is locally called, “The LatterGlory”. “Now.. here I go” I thought, someone I can talk to, but something happened. The Lord told me to STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I didn’t need to be told twice. This woman kept trying to get me involved in their group but she finally gave up. Later I would learn that the Latter Rain theology was Dominion-based and filled with heresy, but I didn’t know it at the time. I also found several prophecy sites that talked about “a great shaking” that was to come, but these left me uneasy. Again I would discover that these folks who consider themselves “prophets” are part of a apostolic reformation group that reject the literal rapture, teach the Corporate Church is the literal presence of Christ, and are training our youth to take dominion of the world if needed by force.
It was December 1st 2005 that I again started another earthquake search looking for answers for my particular situation. I came upon a book written by David W. Lowe titled Earthquake Resurrection. I read about the book and quickly ordered it. Then I emailed the author who quickly answered back.
First, before I tell you about David, I want to say that I have read the entire Left Behind series. I didn’t even get halfway through the first book before I was totally on the floor convicted of my sin and giving my life to the Lord all over again. So this was my first taste of prophecy. Next was the learning of alternate scenarios.
Answers, answers, answers. This warning was consuming me and I was operating on a need to know now basis. What did the earthquake warning mean? Was one about to occur any second? Did I need to stock up on basic supplies? What about my parents? Are they safe? Is this a judgment? This questioning went on and on, but you get the drift of my mindset.
Then the book came.
Have you ever learned something that either amazed, shocked, or surprised you, but in your heart knew it to be true? This is how I felt about Earthquake Resurrection when I first read it and still do… David shows how the seals in Revelation may be misinterpreted and that we are now actually right at the sixth seal, which is the great earthquake. The correlation between earthquakes and resurrections is painstakingly supported by scripture. What does this mean? It means that the rapture will cause the worldwide earthquake of the sixth seal. He shows patterns in the Bible that support this theory.
David recommended not to tell others about a coming disaster but to tell them “The time is now to repent based on a knowledge that they have sinned against God. Otherwise, they will be destroyed eternally”. What a timely word of advice this is.
In the beginning of 2006, people then started coming to me about their earthquake warnings. All of them have been in the form of a dream. All talked about the earth breaking up and buildings coming down around them and running for their lives, leaping over huge gaps in the ground.
Are you heeding God’s warnings in your life? Are you ready for Him to come any second?

Hello,
This is a study of what is currently going on in our churches. It was not too long ago that my pastor stood on the altar and told our congregation that she endorses a book on good and evil. She was not talking about the Bible she was referring to the new Harry Potter book that was just released.
“You won’t find any prophecy books on my bookshelf……. The book of Revelation is irrelevant”.
These jaw-dropping statements started my journey of research into the apostasy of the current church.
I wish to share stories with you and hope that you will keep a watch yourself as the days of deception increase. The deception is not new. It started at the Garden of Eden when Satan tempted Eve with “Your eyes shall be opened and ye shall be as God”
Do not seek to “be as God”. Seek humility!
