Hello,
This is a study of what is currently going on in our churches. It was not too long ago that my past pastor stood on the altar and told our congregation that she endorses a book on good and evil. She was not talking about the Bible she was referring to the new Harry Potter book that was just released.
“You won’t find any prophecy books on my bookshelf……. The book of Revelation is irrelevant”.
These jaw-dropping statements started my journey of research into the apostasy of the current church. I no longer attend this church or one that has a female pastor.
I wish to share stories with you and hope that you will keep a watch yourself as the days of deception increase. The deception is not new. It started at the Garden of Eden when Satan tempted Eve with “Your eyes shall be opened and ye shall be as God”
Do not seek to “be as God”. Seek humility!

You are right in that there is a great deception going on in many peoples lives. To the people who reject the truth of Christianity, God said in the last days, that He would send a strong delusion so that these people will actually believe a lie ( II Thessalonians 2:11 ).

Getting There
The part where you say, “Do not try to be as God, seek humility” is brilliant and so true!

wow, this was from long time ago.
I agree with you, and I also take the unpopular stance that the man should be the head of the household.

Hi stretch..
I wouldn’t read the series.
Please take a quick here https://kimolsen.wordpress.com/2007/08/28/harry-yoda-and-yoga-from-marsha-west/
You will find a ton of information if you google a term such as, “should Christians read Harry Potter”.
The books contain witchcraft and the Bible calls witchcraft detestable. Read Deuteronomy 18:9-13. If you go all the way to the last chapter in the Bible Revelation 22:14-15, it says “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, who practice magic arts, the sexual immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.”
This is quite serious, that those involved in magic will not be received into the kingdom of God.
Reading these books are not quite the same but I am sure you can see the danger of changing a biblical view for a worldly one.
Blessings to you.
